We also, of course, welcome self referrals, although they only have direct access to imaging techniques (MRI and ultrasound) which do not use ionizing radiation. The reason for this is simple. Current UK and European legislation dictate that imaging tests, which do use ionizing radiation, must be requested by a doctor or appropriate deputy.
